Hi there! I’m back with ADORNit Art Play Coloring Books to highlight the Hello Friend Coloring Book. I love ADORNit!
Coloring for me is now a homework, but I made that with real passion. I am taking the coloring With ADORNit Masterclass and I only need time to apply ALL that I am learning. You will love to know how the colors work and how you can combine or create with them, using any type of Mediums like watercolors, pencils, oil paints and more.
I selected this flower from the Hello Friend Art Play Coloring Book created by Catherine Scanton and paint it during my lunch hour. I used Premier Color Pencils for the flower and Watercolor Pencils from Leisure art to paint the leaves and branches.
I fussy cut the flower with my scissors and create for it a card base using Whisper White cardstock and using as second layer a piece of of Rhapsody Tickertape paper to give a major contrast. Using a negative part of a Banner Die Cut I created the perfect frame for my flower. I pasted these directly over the card base and then I pasted the flower with dimensionals or double sided foam tape. I cut the excess of the leaves to can put this card on a regular envelope.
As final touche I added a very special sentiment, the word LOVE. This is a sticker from the Good Life ADORNit Collection and if you didn’t try these stickers before, you need to do that. It comes with several designs, including sentiments, borders, quotes and beautiful banners.
