I’m thinking on…Christmas!
Hello crafty friends, today I’m thinking on…Christmas. My favorite season is around the corner and I can not way for celebrate this time with you!
The base of my card is whisper white card stock and and I created a washed background using a combination of distress ink and shimmer sheer splatter.
In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped the image Cottage & Trees with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Studio 71 Alcohol Markers. Then I fussy cut the image with my scissors and pasted over the background.
Also I stamped the sentiment I’m thinking over a piece of whisper white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut it with a banner die cut. Then I layered this piece over a Pumpkin Pie card stock banner a little big from the first.
Like I’m thinking on Christmas, to enhance the colors of the stamped images, I cut a layer using Cherry Cobbler cards stock using the Oval Burst Elle-ments die cut from Avery Elle. I only used the cover plate and not the sentiment included on the Die Cut. I arranged all the pieces and a to finalize the decoration I added a snowflake and a pearl.
