It’s the season with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Challenge
Hi there! Just popping in to share a project because It’s the season with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Challenge. I am featuring some recently stamps and combined them with a “snarky” sentiment. Today is the launching of our It’s the Season Challenge and this card is part of the DT inspiration.
The base of my card is Whisper White carstock. The process to make that was very simple:
- Stamp the sentiment Christmas Time with the Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink. over the top layer of the card base.
- In a separate piece of whisper white cardstock stamp the image called Tree by Olesya using Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink.
- Color the Tree using color pencils or Alcohol Markers.
- Fussy cut the image with your scissors.
- Using different colors of Catherine Pooler Ink create a watercolor effect on the lower part of your card base. I used the bottom to up: Skylight, It’s a Girl, Mandarin Spice and Limoncello. I inked my craft mat directly with the ink pad and with an aquapainter or waterbrush I applied the color over the card base.
- Cut a white stitched border using a die cut.
- Paste the white frame over the card base with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.
- To add a contrast color cut a regular rectangle frame in a brilliant colors. I used real red card stock for that.
- Paste the color frame over the whisper white frame and the stamped Tree over the frames.
- Add some sequins in fresh colors as final touch.
