Hi friends, I love making masculine cards! They’re are a complete challenge for me. But sometimes I just want to make a card – no technique focus, or experimenting – just make a easy handmade stamped card! So that’s what today’s post is.

Easy masculine stamped card

Card Details:

To start this card I used soft suede card stock for the card base. Then, I stamped onto whisper white card stock one of the borders included on the stamp set Best Dad Ever, the tools border . I stamped the border three times with VersaFine Onix Ink. And with the MISTI, I could double stamp the images to have a dark black.

I colored some details with Illustrator Markers. Also, I stamped some of the letters included on the Best Dad Ever Stamp Set with Memento Rhubarb Ink to create the sentiment. It is a dark red color that I love. Additionally, in a separate piece of white card stock I stamped the metric border included on the Best Dad Ever stamp set and colored it before to attach with staples to the stamped layer. Also, I resized the layer with the embossed edge rectangle die.

The next card is using the stamp set Bandana Bits. To start this card I cut a piece of crumb cake or craft card stock of 4″x5-1/4″. Then, I used the MISTI to randomly stamp some of the images included on the Bandana Bits set with VersaFine Onix onto the craft layer.

Additionally, with a white gel pen and white color pencil, I enhanced some details of the bandana design. I pasted the decorated layer over a white card base. Also for the sentiment, I combined two of the words included on the Heroes stamp set that I stamped with VersaFine Onix Ink.
