Manna from Heaven Card

Hello everyone! Today I am featuring a stamp set from Joy Clair and the fabulous Inks from Imagine, Manna from Heaven Card.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock and if you are a frequently reader and visitor of my projects you are noticed that on this card I used several layesr… not typical on my creations.

I started stamping the can soup from the Manna from Heaven stamp set over a whisper white piece of card stock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, my new favorite black ink. I embossed the image with clear embossing powder and colored part of it with a Memento Markerers before to fussy cut with my scissors.I continue the process taking a piece of watercolor paper and stamped over it one of the sentiments included on the Manna from Heaven stamp set using the same VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I embossed this image too with clear embossing powder.

Then to create the watercolor effect I used Memento Ink in two different colors, Desert Sabd abd Lady Bug, combined with Ink Potion No. 9 to mix and dilute the inks. First I applied water over the watercolor paper with a paint brush and then directly with the ink pads applied the color over my mat and sprayed the ink with Ink Potion No. 9 to obtain the watercolor effect.

To speed the process I dried the paper with my heat tool but if you want you can let the paper dry naturally. I decorated this layer with a die cut on top with the Papertrey Ink Strip Stitched Die and put in place all the layers that I wanted to use on this card secured them with a staple. The additional layers are decorated papers from Quick Quotes Scrapbook.

I pasted the layers and can over the card using dimensionals or double sided foam tape.

As final touch I splatted the card with Fireworks Dandelion.
