Occasions Cards
Hello there, I am up with Joy Clair Designs Blog and I prepared two different occasions cards, Mardi Gras & St. Patrick Celebrations. I used the stamp sets Unashamed and Lucky Charm. Let me start with the Mardi Gras card.
Unashamed is a Color by Faith stamp set that can be also used for Mardi Grass. This set also includes amazing sentiments that you can use in your journaling and bible journaling. But let me give you more about this card.
Details:
I randomly stamped the masks included on the Unashamed stamp set with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. Then I colored each mask with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. I will share more details about this project soon in Spectrum Noir Page and Group.
To resize the colored panel and to cut the die cut of the sentiment, I used the Embossed Edge Rectangles Dies.
My second card is a St. Patrick Card and of course the green is the main color.
To make this card, I used the Lucky Charm stamp set. I stamped the clovers with Memento Ink Bamboo Leaves. Then I colored each clover with my Tri-Blends from Spectrum Noir. I also stamped over the same layer the rainbow image and colored it with Tri-Blends. I splattered this layer with Gold Spray Finish from Aladine.
I die cut the stamped layer with the large size of the Mosaic Triangle Edge Dies. I am fascinated with this dies because they come in five different sizes that I use with a lot of options. I stamped the sentiment, that is included on the Lucky Charm stamp set and pasted the decorated layer over the green card base using Crafty Foam Tape.
In a separate piece of paper, I stamped the Leprechaun and the cloud. I colored them with Tri-Blends from Spectrum Noir and fussy cut with scissors. To finalize the card, I pasted them over the decorated card using 3D Foam Squares Mix in color White.
