Hi friends, today I want to share some of my projects created for October Release from Diamond Press and presented yesterday on HSN.

Let me start with one of my favorites for this season. It is the ‘Tis the Season Sentiment Dies. I love this die cut set because the words and sentiments can be used in any size of cards. Just take a look:

On the above card, I created a Christmas Wreath using die cut leaves in different tones of green. Then, I decorated the wreath with some red dots in clay and added one of the sentiments included on the ‘Tis the Season Dies Sentiments.

For my second card, I heat embossed a piece of cardstock with Verdigris Embossing Powder from Imagine Crafts. Then, I die cut the words using this piece of card stock.

Card Details:

Additionally for the background, I dry embossed a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using one of the folders included on the Diamond Press Set of Season of Greetings Embossing Folders and inked the rised side with Kaleidacolor Ink in Fresh Green Colors.

To enhance the sentiment, I pasted it over one Nesting Doily that I cut using one of the designs included on the Diamond Press Dies Nesting Doilies.

About the above card, I die cut the background with one of the dies included on the Winter Wishes Nesting Stamps & Dies also from Diamond Press. Then, I die cut the sentiment from the ‘Tis the Season Dies Sentiments. In addition, I adorned the card with some of the flowers and leaves included on the Diamond Press Holiday Cross Stitch Dies & Stamps.

More Inspiration

My last card is totally made with embossing techniques. First I dry embossed a piece of white smooth cardstock. I used one of the embossing folders included on the Diamond Press Set of Season of Greetings Embossing Folders. In addition, I give a touch of shimmer over the snowflakes with Sheer Shimmer Stix Dauber Top Frost from Imagine Crafts.

I die cut the large Christmas sentiment onto Red Card Stock  several times to make it thicker. And with a piece of masking tape, I covered the half of the word to can embossed the other middle with Gold Embossing Powder. As final touch, just paste one of the scrip words also included on the ‘Tis the Season Dies Sentiments.
