Partial Die Cutting Card
Hi there! Today I’m sharing these fun partial die cutting card over on the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps blog featuring one of the Friendship sentiments, Just The Way You Are.
To create this card I used the partial die cutting technique. With this technique you don’t cut the entire die cut over your card stock, you only cut part of the design and depending of the size of your die and the size of your die cutting machine, you can play around to create your own design. I used a big flower branch die cut from my stash over the upper side of a whisper white card layer.
After cut my design, I stamped one of the friendship sentiment, the Just the Way You Are with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, following the line created with the die. Also, I inked the top of the card base with two different colors of dye ink from Catherine Pooler. To make this, I inked directly with the ink pads my craft mat with the two inks and placed the card base directly over the inked area. After the ink dry, I pasted the decorated layer with double sided foam tape to give more dimension.
