Princess Mermaid from Rita Barakat

Hi there! Today I’m sharing this fun card featuring a Princess Mermaid from Rita Barakat. This one of her rubber stamps that I love. Take a look to my card:

To create this card I used the partial die cutting technique. If you are not familiar with this technique let me share the idea with you:

1. 1. 1. Stamp the Princess Mermaid over whisper white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
      2. Color your image with your favorite medium. I colored mine with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
      3. Select the shape of the die cut that you want to use. This must covered the major part of the stamped image. In my card, I am using a circle die and I want to have the lower part out of the shape.
      4. With the scissors cut in silhouette the part that will be out of the shape and insert it through the die, to have it out of the cutting lines.
      5. Pass your image through the die cut machine and voila you have a partial die cut piece.
      6. To finalize the card, I cut a sentiment several times from card stock and stocked and pasted all the pieces to have sentiment with great dimension. 
      7. Paste the pieces over your card base. I used a night of navy card base and decorated the top layer with the Circle Card Cover Die from The Stamp Market.
