Hello crafty friends, today I have a special rainbow card with Rinea Foiled Paper. It is special because it is not a traditional rainbow! This month we have a cross promotion with Poppystamps and they have amazing dies!

Rainbow Card with Rinea

My rainbow is not traditional rainbow because I used the scraps of a collection of cards that I made recently. I embossed the Rinea Foiled Paper with a metallic stencil and covered the free areas of it with StazOn Pigment Ink on different colors. You can find the complete tutorial HERE.

I pasted the strips over a piece of card stock taking care to sync the embossed design. Using the new color of Rinea Foiled Paper, the Arctic/Gold Glossy, I made the mat for the decorated layer and paste all over the card base.

To finalize the design a just added the  Large Nimble Faerie Die that I cut from white card stock and Starstruck Arctic Rinea Foiled Paper plus a sentiment from the stamp set Wish Big.

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Very unique and eye catching card— my eyes wanted to search through the layers to see the difference textures and colors – To me that is what distinguishes a craft project from an actual art piece- this is different and beautiful
