Rainbow Dragonfly

Hi there! Today I want to share with you a rainbow dragonfly!. This is a foiled card created with stencils, heat transfer foil, alcohol markers and a fabulous stamp from Creative Vision Stamps.

On this project I used a stencil to create ink splatters with different colors of Classic Ink. My stencil have two small images, I moved and played around of the whisper white layer with them to create the design. Then I stamped with the VersaFine Clair Nocturne one of the sentiments included on the Can’t Hold It stamp set by Creative Vision Stamps and embossed it with Black Embossing Powder. On purpose I left some black powders because the idea was generate movement and excitement.

I used the free areas of the stencil to sponged it with five different colors of Classic Ink, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry , Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzas and Tangerine Tango from Stampin Up. I pasted the inked layer over a Tempting Turquoise card base.

To complement the design I cut a Dragonfly from Gina Marie Designs. I cut a piece of heat transfer foil Crystal Ballroom a little bigger that the die cut and painted it with Alcohol Markers Studio 71. Then I put the colored face up and passed my die cut with the foil paper through the MINC. I love how it turned a raimbow piece from a Crystal Ballroom piece of heat transfer foil from Creative Vision Stamps.

To finalize the card I pasted the dragonfly over the inked spots using a glue dots.
