Hi there! Today is another exciting day. I have been invited to participate in a Rita Barakat & Marvi Chalk Markers Pens Blog Hop and I decided to explore the Marvi Chalk markers with a twist.

Create different things giving a twist to my products is always a challenge for me and at this time I decided to make my own background design simply drawing the lines and combining the Bistro Chalk Marker wide with two thins, gold and white. I just made the lines over a Mossy Meadow piece of card stock. Then I resized the layer using a rectangle die cut frame from Gina Marie Designs. To make this background more special, I sprayed the entire line with Fross Shimmer Sheer.

In a separate piece of whisper white card stock I stamped the Ballerina Image from Rita Barakat with Memento Tuxedo Ink and with a tiny paint brush I colored the dress of the ballerina with the Bistro Chalk Marker wide. I also enhanced some details of the image painting it with the fine point Bistro Chalk Marker from Marvi.

With my scissors I fussy cut the image and pasted over the chalked background using double sided foam tape. I finalized my card with a Smile Sentiment that I cut from Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper and Pink card stock. I pasted the final decorated layer over a pink card base.

Here is the line up for this fabulous blog hop:
