SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS

Shaving Cream and Fireworks an explosive combination! Experimenting with techniques is my passion and Fireworks bring us many possibilities to design. In this project I am using a very old technique using Shaving cream with a few drops of ink. In this case the ink is Fireworks, a water based craft ink, with sparkly and shimmery effects that coordinate perfectly with  Memento colors. Let me share with you the twist of my technique and the easy process to create my card:

SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS

  1. Take a few amount of shaving cream and add some drops or sprays of Fireworks. In my project I used three different colors of Fireworks: Lilac Posies, Dandelion and Cantaloupe. Lightly mix the colors with a stick. Pass your paper over the foam and let the mix (color shaving) touch the paper. SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS
  2. Remove the excess foam with a clean copy paper. Let your decorated paper dry very well before working on it. SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS
  3. Stamp your sentiment over the decorated base using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS
  4. In a separate piece of paper stamp the word love using Encore Metallic Gold . Cut the word with the corresponding die cut or with scissors. SHAVING CREAM AND FIREWORKS
  5. Paste the decorated layer over the card base using Tear It! tape and the word love using dimensionals.
