Today I have two very simple friendship cards to share with you all. This month Joy Clair Designs released many flowers and I want to walk you through how I made these very simple friendship cards.

easy friendship card created with flowers and die cuts

You are special card!

This card is super simple. First, I printed off the Flowers and sentiment from the Floral Joy Digital Set. Once printed, I selected the flowers that I wanted to use and cut it down with one of the embossed edge squares dies from Kat Scrappiness. I repeated the process with the sentiment but this time using a embossed edge rectangle die.  With scissor I fussy cut some of the branches included on the same set. And finally, I pasted all over a square card base with Crafty Foam tape and adhesive dots for the branches. I colored the image with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir.

Because this card is so simple, I made a second card but this time using flowers and sentiment from the Spring Floral Basket Digital Set.  I colored the image and fussy cut it with scissors. Then, I cut the sentiment. I left these two pieces aside for a while.

With a star stencil and Opaline Textured Paste by Izink I created the background in a second piece of card. I splattered it with gold ink and cut the borders in angle with the card base.

Thank you for stopping by and keep in touch because tomorrow I will have a great announcement to all!
