Slimline Stamped Card

If you are not familiar with the slimline size, it is a rectangle card that fix perfectly in a letter size envelope. Therefore, the size of my card is 8 1/2″x 6 3/4″ with score in 3 3/8″ on the short side.

CARD DETAILS:

First I cut the card base used white card stock. In addition, I inked the top layer with a brush and three different colors of Distress Oxide Ink. The colors that I used were: Iced Spruce, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans. Then, I stamped with VersaFine Onix a combination of images included on the stamp set Koala – Ty – Time and enhanced some details with a white gel pen.

Using textured card stock, I die cut the shadow and pasted it on the center of the card. Then I die cut several layers of the word die Hooray and pasted all in the same place. With that, I give more dimension to the word.

Kat Scrappiness has several slimline dies that can be used to re-create this design. In addition, many word dies that can be easily combined.
