Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month – October
Hello there! It’s my day to reveal the project with the Spellbinders Glimmer Kit of the Month and I think you are going to love all of the beautiful and versatile designs this month.
This month’s Glimmer Kit of the Month, “Glimmering Autumn Woods“, is a stunning set of six foil plates and nine dies designed to create the most beautiful arrangement of fall icons. There are so many ways to use these gorgeous foiled images.
I applied Copper Hot Foil to very vanilla cardstock using the foil plates in the kit and my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine. Then, I colored the images in with Classique Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, I cut them out with the coordinating dies that are included on the kit.
To create the card, I used blushing bride card stock. For the background, I applied Victorian Velvet distress oxide ink with a blender tool and inked only the lower part of the layer. Then, I pasted the layer over the card base using crafty foam tape.
To finalize the card, I just arranged all the glimmer kit pieces over the inked area with 3D foam squares and added a few rhinestones to enhance the colors. The fabulous sentiment is part of the kit as well.
