Stitched Alphabet by Spellbinders
Hello there, today I have three different cards to share with you using the new Stitched Alphabet Collection by Spellbinders. This collection features the letters from the alphabet with holes in so that you can stitch patterns on them. Also, you can use them without too, just like I made because as you may know, I am so bad with the sewing or stitching.
One of the advantage of these Stitched Alphabet Dies is that these also feature the shadow too, so lots of different ways you can use them. The shadow die on that one is all one piece, whereas these ones are singular. The size of the letters is the same though, so you can mix and match!
My first card is using the Stitched Z Etched Dies. I die cut all the shadow letters in white smooth card stock and each letter on different tones of green. In addition, I alternated the same colors of letters to enhance the holes or tiny flowers of each letter.
To decorate the background panel of my slimline card, I used one of the borders included on the Create a Slimline Border from the Inspired Basics Collection by Spellbinders. Then, I splattered it with FireWorks Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout from Imagine. In addition, the stamps that I used are part of the Sloth Mode On stamp set from Crafters Companion and colored with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir.
The second card is a regular size card. I created the die cut border with another design included on the Create a Slimline Border from the Inspired Basics Collection by Spellbinders. Yessss…. I am loving these borders because for me they are a must on my die cut collection.
On this card, I used the Stitched J Etched Dies and combined it with images from the clear stamp set Jesus is my Jam from Joy Clair Designs. I colored the images with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir.
My last card is a square card featuring the Stitched X Etched Dies and flowers from the Painted Blooms Etched Dies from the Paint Your World Collection. This is another fabulous collection from Spellbinders.
Let me tell you, I love the Spellbinders products because they are very versatile and you can mix and match all collections! In special, this Stitched Alphabet Collection is a perfect addition because as I told you at the beginning of this post, you can combine them and create your own words and designs.
