Hi there! I am fascinated with the project that I have to share today. It is a Succulent coloring that I made using a new color pencils to me, the Metallic Color Pencils from Spectrum Noir. At the end of this post, I will say you what I think about these colors.

SUCCULENT COLORING

I stamped the Aeonium African Succulent Stamp from Picket Fence onto Premium Pad Color Pencil white from Spectrum Noir using Finesse Alcohol Proof Dye Ink Noir Black. I partially stamped the Succulent in the lower and upper part of the layer. I selected the line of colors that I wanted to use from the Metallic Color Pencils set that I have from Spectrum Noir. This is the first time that I used these colors.

SUCCULENT COLORING

As usual in my coloring process with color pencils, I started with the dark color, the Purple  just coloring the lower part of each petal. Then moved to the inter media tone, Violet and finalizing with the Pink. To create a contrast, I added a gold touch of color in some borders and in the upper part of the petals.

Metallic color Pencils:

At the beginning of this post, I said to you that this was the first time that I used the Metallic Color Pencils from Spectrum Noir and the first time that I colored a Succulent. Well at the end of my coloring process, I ended fascinated with the metallic colors. They blend wonderful, can be mixed in a good way and add a sheer touch to the design. The number of colors is limited, only 12 on the tin, but for me was easy create “like block of colors” and select which block I could combined. If you ask me if I recommend the Metallic Pencils from Spectrum Noir, my only answer is YES!!!
