Susan’s Spring Flora Card
Hi friends, today I am up with a new Susan’s Spring Flora card using the Kerria Japonica Dies from Spellbinders. OMG, you know my passion for flowers and I am super excited to work with these dies and play with these amazing 3D flowers.
If you are thinking that these are too complicated, you are wrong. They are not. These are really simple and easy to make. These dies are marked with the amount of pieces that you need to cut to create each flower. Additionally, you can see the easy steps HERE on this video create by Susan Tierney-Cockburn.
Honestly, with the Susan’s Garden Ultimate Tool Kit you will have all the tools in a bag to make flowers but if you don’t have the tool kit you can start with the stylus from different sizes and the detail tweezers.
I die cut mine onto white smooth card stock and colored them with Classique Markers from Spectrum Noir. I used the colors BO2, GY2, GY4, GB4. For the leaves, I used AG2, AG4 and AG5 and created the shadows with green pastels and a green fine liner. For the steam, I used EB4 and EB5.
As sentiment, I used one of the messages included on the Even More Sentiments Etched Dies that I die cut onto Rinea Gold/Glossy Foiled Paper.
To finalize the card, I just created a card base and decorated the top layer with the large size of the Nestabilities Essentials Rectangles Etched Dies in a dark color. I arranged all the pieces with E-Z adhesive runner, Dual Tip Glue Pen and Adhesive Dots.
