Sweet Cardlets II Collection – Card Inspiration
Hi there, today I am up with two Sweet Cardlets II Collection – Card Inspiration by Spellbinders. OMG, I am super excited with these projects because it is the first time that I show in “public” Glimmer Hot Foil products!
My first cards is featuring the Cup of Kindness Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set created by Becca Feeken. It is part of the Sweet Cardlets II Collection by Spellbinders. This set includes 6 plates and 3 thin metal dies. It is a perfect Tea Cup collection.
To make the background of my card, I used one of the panels included on the Filigree Façade Frame Etched Dies from Make a Scene Collection by Becca Feeken. I die cut it onto white smooth card stock and pasted over dark green card stock using crafty foam tape.
To foil the Cup of Kindness Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set, I used glossy card stock and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll Champagne. Additionally, I decided to coloring some parts of the tea cup with an Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. I made it, to make the card more attractive and coordinate with the card base.
SECOND CARD
On the above card I am featuring the Shine Your Light Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from Sweet Cardlets II Collection by Becca Feeken. This is a very cute and inspirational set.
This is a square card of 4-1/4 with a second layer created with designer paper. I used glossy card stock and Glimmer Hot Foil Roll Champagne and fussy cut with scissors the scalloped image to give more dimension over the background.
Honestly, work with the Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die sets is amazing. And Spellbinders have the perfect Hot Foil Plates, Hot Foil Rolls with amazing colors and patterns and without talk of the easy and wonderful Glimmer Hot Foil System.
