Sympathy Card and Bible Journaling
Hello crafty friends! Today I have three different projects to share with you using stamp sets from Joy Clair Stamps.
My first project is a sympathy card that I made using the stamp set Heartfelt Sympathy. You know that I love flowers and the two included on this set are totally gorgeous and the sentiments too. We were in needed of these sentiments and they made this stamp set real special.
To make my card I used the masking technique with a stencil. I used the Leaf Burst Stencil with two different colors of green ink that I applied with jumbo daubers.
Then I stamped one of the sentiments included on the stamp set Heartfelt Sentiment with Memento Ink Tuxedo Black.
In a separate piece of whisper white cardstock, I stamped one of the flowers included on the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with color pencils. Then I fussy cut the image and pasted on the stenciled corner with dimensionals.
I created a basic black mat for the decorated layer and pasted over the poppy parade card base.
My second project could be consider bible journaling, but this time I made the journaling over my Hymnal & Songs Book.
To create this I used Memento Ink to stamp the images of the stamp set I am and color pencils to color these images.
To make the colorful background I used different colors of classic ink that I applied with jumbo daubers. I combined and connected the I am images with another new stamp set, the Doodle Lines. This set is wonderful to connect or create backgrounds for his wonderful size.
My next project is another page of my Hymnal & Songs book.
I made this design using classic ink, die cuts and the stamp set You Got This. This stamp set is part of the new stamps included on the Color by Faith. I die cut some distresses images using Rinea Ebony/Ebony Starstruck Foiled Paper and pasted it over my page after inked the area with three different colors of ink.
