TARJETA MASCULINA Y MODERNA

Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here with something for Dad. Today I want to share with you a masculine card that I created using the new Earth Wind Fire 111 paper. Take a look at my card:

I saw this card many times around the net and always said I want to make one like this but I never did one before this, so for me this a complete new project. I didn’t follow any tutorial, I just followed my style and here is how I made this:

1. Cut the base using Whisper White card stock. The size is 4-1/4″x11″ with score in 5-1/2″. I used this color to avoid the shirt!
2. Cut two pieces of Earth Wind Fire Paper 111. One of 5-1/2″x5-1/4″ and the second of 5-1/2″x3-1/2″
3. Take the second piece of decorated paper, the 5-1/2″x3-1/2″ and make a score line on the short side in 1-3/4″. Mark your score line with the bone folder.
4. Take the first piece of decorated paper, the 5-1/2″ and 5-1/4″ and make a score line on the short side in 3-1/4″. Mark your score line with the bone folder.
5. Place the smaller piece and align with the left side of the card base. Create the first folding to simulate the collar of the blazer. Don’t mark the folding line of the collar.
6. Apply a hard adhesive only to the part that will be permanent in contact with the card base. Paste over the card base and cut the excess of the decorated paper.
7. Place the second part and align with the right side of the card base. Create the second folding to finish the collar of the blazer. Don’t mark the folding line of the collar. Just paste the corner with a glue dot.
8. Apply a hard adhesive only to the part that will be permanent in contact with the card base and paste over the card base.
9. Using the other face of the Earth Wind Fire Paper 111 and a Bow Builder punch create a Bow to decorate the “white shirt” and the little scarf for the invisible pocket.
10. Finalize the decoration with two big bottoms.
11. If you want ink all the borders with PowderPuff Chalk Ink Navy.
