The Rabbit Hole Designs April Release Day 2

Hello crafty friends and welcome to The Rabbit Hole Designs April Release Day 2. Today I am featuring the new stamps set We are Family and I have two cards to share with you.  If you are here from Amanda Stevens blog, you are in the right place. The base of my card was made with Daffodil Delight card stock and the second layer with whisper white card stock that I cut with a dotted circle cover die. Before to paste the whisper white layer I enhance the yellow of the card base using Memento Ink Tangelo to make the background looks like sun effects. Then I pasted the whisper white layer and  decorated the base with some grass created on old olive card stock with the Grassy Border of Lawn Fawn.

In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped two images included on the stamp set We are Family with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Alcohol Markers Studio 71 and Copics. I fussy cut the main image with my scissors and cut the sentiment with one of the Simon Says Sentiment Strip Dies. I pasted all the stamped images with double sided foam tape over the decorated card base.

My second project was made using Blueberry Bushel card stock for the card base and Crumb Cake for the second layer.

I cut the second layer using a combination of two die cuts to create the circle window. First the loopy stitched rectangle from Gina Marie Designs and then a stitched scalloped circle  included on the All Prettied Up Creative Cut from Mama Elephant. I covered the window with a piece of crumb cake tulle and then I pasted the entire decorated layer with double sided foam tape over the card base.

The images used on this card were stamped over whisper white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with alcohol markers Studio 71 and Copics. I fussy cut the main image with my scissors and the sentiment with the Simon Says Sentiment Strip Dies.
