THINKING OF YOU WITH DELICATA INK

Hello everyone!

The summer is here and July is a perfect month to experiment quick projects like this. Heat embossing is the most easier technique and with a few touches of Delicata Ink you can get an awesome effect.

Today I am showing you how to color and give a gold metallic effect with different colors and texture of inks.

Directions:

Stamp the flowers and leaves images over watercolor paper using Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder. In my project, I am using a combination of the stamps Wild Rose from Pretty Pink Post and Loving Mom from Kennedy Grace Ceationss.

Select the colors of Delicate Ink that you want to use and dilute them with a few drops of Ink Potion No. 9. To color the flowers I used Sapphire Blueand Emeral Green Delicata Ink. For the leaves Dark Brown Shimmer. I also applied a few touches of Rose Gold Delicata ink to create a perfect mix of the colors. After finishing the coloring let the watercolor paper dry

Fussy cut with scissors the flowers and leaves and let a side for a while.

Create a card base using whisper white cardstock. Dilute some touches of Rose Gold Delicata Ink with Ink Portion No. 9 and using a paint brush to splat a few drops of color over the card base. If you want you can also add a few  splatters of Dark Brown Shimmer Delicata Ink.

Stamp the sentiment Thinking of You using VersaFine Clair Pinecome and Clear Embossing Powder. On my project I used the Thinking of You sentiment from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps.

Finalize your card adding some embellishments like gold metallic tread and arrange the flowers and leaves with glue dots and double sided foam tape.

As final touch paste some gold sequins using On Point Glue.
