Turkey Talk & Falling Leaves

Hi there, Martha Lucia here with you to show you a card that I made using two of the new stamp sets from Joy Clair Stamps, Turkey Talk & Falling Leaves.

To make this I used Memento Ink and a combination of watercolor pencils and watercolor brush pens. Let me share how easy was made this.

1. Create the base of your card using Cajun Craze card stock.
2. Stamp the Falling Leaves background over watercolor card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
3. Color your stamped images using Art Leisure Watercolor Colored Pencils and/or Arteza Watercolor Brush Pens, (my new acquisition).
4. In a separate piece of watercolor card stock stamp the images of Turkey Talk stamp set that you want to use. I love this Turkey and sentiment and you can see how I edited and colored it to look different.
5. To color the turkey images you can also use Art Leisure Watercolor Colored Pencils and/or Arteza Watercolor Brush Pens.
6. Cut the turkey’s with your scissors of use the SVG file that came included with all Joy Clair Stamps.
7. Resize your background and make a dark mat for it. If you noticed I decided to use the Falling Leaves Background in horizontal position and not vertical like is the original idea.
8. Assemble your card and arrange all the details with dimensionals.

To add a soft white tone to my card I decided to emboss a piece of vellum card stock with a dot embossing folder and cut it with a hexagon die cut. Just to give a halo of angel’s to these turkeys.

I hope you enjoy this card and let me tell you that the new stamps sets from Joy Clair are fantastic and perfect for this season. I only used two of them in my combination but you can make your own combination or use each stamp set to create individual cards.
