Wine Not?

Hello crafty friends! Today I am up in Kat Scrappiness Blog featuring the Wine Not? stamp set and die cuts with some sprinkles.

Wine Not?

To make this card, I used the Wine Not? Custom Craft Dies cuts to make the shaker version. It is a die cutting technique that you can easily use to stretch your die cuts. The essential part is that you use double sided foam tape and window sheets or acetate to cover the window area.

Wine Not?

The base of this card is Basic Black card stock and I covered the top layer with a piece of chevron designer paper. But let me share the steps with you:

  1. Cut the wine bottle included on the Wine Not? Die set onto a whisper white layer. Keep the die cut piece.
  2. Stamp the sentiment Wine Not? on the top of the same whisper white layer. I used VersaFine Clair Nocturned and Clear Embossing Powder.
  3. Ink the bottle die cut with the colors of distress ink that you wanted. I applied my ink with the life changing blend brushes.
  4. Cut a piece of window sheets or acetate to cover perfectly the window bottle created on the whisper white layer. Paste this piece behind of the card stock.
  5. Cut a piece of white foam of the same size of your whisper white layer and die cut the bottle on the same place that you cut for the whisper white layer.
  6. Paste the foam layer over a same size of whisper white card stock.
  7. Paste the inked die cut of the bottle inside of the window created on with white foam.
  8. Place and distribute your Sprinkles inside of the negative part. I used Grapes Sprinkles.
  9. Paste the initial stamped whisper white layer over the foam piece.
NOTE: You can use double sided adhesive foam to create this type of card. Or use any other type of adhesive in between the layers.
  10. Embellish and Personalize your card. To make that I cut the cup included on the Wine Not? die cut set using Rinea Foiled paper in blush  and gold and decorated with Grape Sprinkles too.

Thank you for stopping by and HERE you can all the sprinkles and confetti’s recently released in Kat Scrappiness Store. HERE you can find different die cut designs that will inspire you to create your own designs for shaker cards.
