GUEST DESIGNER FOR TAWS
Being a Guest Designer for TAWS during July was a great experience for me. This month I shared with you two beautiful stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps, the Petal Pushers and the Phraseology. Today I will show you two cards that I made using these sets. Ever since my first post with these stamps, that you can see HERE, I’ve decided to combine both stamps in my creations.
This card was made to simulate the flowers and stems. For the flowers I used the Phraseology background with the emboss resist technique. For the steams, I used one border or the larger image from Petal Pushers. I colored this with markers and to make the design more dynamic I punched the circles on top with different sizes of punches. The sentiment is from the Petal Pushers.
For my last card I use the the Petal Pushers stamp set. The base and second layer of this card is Melon Mambo and I combined this with Delightful Dijon for the starbursh die cut and Whisper White for the circle on the center. The little banner behind of these pieces is mint macaron. In this card, I stamped other images from Petal Pusher using these colors of ink plus mint macaron and I connected and decorated the center of the stamped images with an aqua sequin.
For the embossing I used the Large Polka Dot embossing folder, one of my favorites for this kind of designs.

Lovely creation however it can’t be counted over at the PBSC Challenge as you have to use a Penny Black stamp for your entry to be counted in the challenge xxx
