Celebrate You Collection by Spellbinders
Hello crafty friends! Today, I want to share two new projects created with products from the Celebrate You Collection by Spellbinders. On this opportunity, I have two different cards created with the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments clear stamp set , This Plus This Embossing Folder and the Swallowtail Tags Etched Dies.
My first card features the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Stamp Set. First, I stamped some of the images included on this stamp set randomly onto a piece of white smooth cardstock. To stamp the sentiments, I used VersaFine Onix Ink.
Then, I left the ink dry naturally before continuing with the creative process. Meanwhile, I die cut four times one of the sentiments included on the Adoring Fleurette Card Builder Etched Dies from the Classically Collection by Spellbinders.
In addition, I stacked all the sentiments before to paste a hard piece over the rhombus on Vellum. To cut the vellum, I used a die included on the Amazing Paper Grace Die, the Romantic Chargeour Vignette Etched Dies.
With Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar I inked the stamped layer. Then, I resize it and made a mat with black mat cardstock and pasted all the pieces with crafty foam tape over a white smooth card base. Before to paste the die cut sentiment, I splattered the entire card with gold ink.
MORE INSPIRATION
My second card is a card created with tridimensional effect. I got this effect using the card that I created using the new This Plus This Embossing Folder from the Celebrate You Collection by Spellbinders
First, I inked one of the sides of the embossing folder with Yellow Ink and sponged well de borders of the plus signs to mark the color. Then, I passed the embossing folder with the cardstock through my die cut machine. To finalize the process, I repeated the second step but this time moving a little up the embossed cardstock to create the effect of movement.
I pasted the embossed layer over a mat. Then, I pasted it over the card base. Additionally, I stamped one of the flowers included on the stamp set Sweet as Honey stamps onto a piece of white smooth cardstock. And colored it with Sparkle Pens from Spectrum Noir. The colors of Sparkle Pens that I used were Cotton Candy, Macaroon, Pink Champagne, Emerald Green and Linen.
To finalize the card, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments stamp set. And, die cut it with one of the Swallowtail Tags Etched Dies.
I also die with the same size of Swallowtail Tag a second piece in coordinated color. In addition, I die cut four strips with the strip die included on the Swallowtail Tags using the same colors of the mat. Additionally, I fussy cut the flower and pasted all the pieces over the decorated card base.
