Easy Gift Bags
Hello there! I am super excited to share some of the new products from Spellbinders today. Today, I have two different stiles of gift bags. These are easy gift bags created with the new Gift Bag Etched Dies from the Celebrate You Collection and combined with other new products from Spellbinders.
To make my first bag, I used designer paper. You can cut the gift bag etched dies using sheets of 6×6. The process is so simple because the die cut has the score lines well marked and you only need to fold the score lines to give shape to the bag.
To decorate my bag, I die cut the handles of the bag onto Rinea Foiled Paper. Using this, I have the gold tone for one side. And the inside tone in a coordinated colors with the designer paper that I used.
I personalized the bag, die cutting two of the Swallowtail Tags Etched Dies. This is a new product from the Celebrate You Collection by Spellbinders. The large tag was cut onto Rinea Foiled Paper and the small onto White Smooth Cardstock. In addition, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the new clear stamp set Let’s Celebrate Sentiments, also by Spellbinders. The sentiments included on the Let’s Celebrate Stamp Set works perfectly with the different sizes of swallowtail tags etched dies.
Additionally, I created a tiny butterfly with one of the die cuts included on the Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5×7″ Card Base Etched Dies designed by Becca Feeken.

The second gift bag is another easy creation using the Gift Bag Etched Dies by Spellbinders. On this opportunity, I just changed the way to close the bag. Take a look of my design.
To make the above gift bag, I used shimmer white cardstock. First, I die cut the large die included on the Gift Bag Etched Dies twice. Then using the new This Plus This Embossing Folder from the Celebrate You Collection by Spellbinders to create the fabulous texture. This is a 8.50 x 5.50 embossing folder with a fabulous geometric pattern of plus signs.
I folded and pasted the Gift Bag pieces to make the box shape and let it a side for a while. Then I die cut one of the pieces included on the A2 Filigree Marquis Etched Dies from Spellbinders. twice. The first piece using only the solid die cut shape and the second combining it with the filigree design.
As final touch, I just stamped one of the sentiments included on the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Clear Stamps. Then, I die cut it with one of the Swallowtail Tags Etched Dies and decorated with one flower created with the Peach Blossom Etched Dies from the Susan’s Garden Favorites Collection for Spellbinders.
